1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device. Similar techniques, such as local storage in your browser, fall under the same rules.
2. Which cookies does offacto.com use?
We keep it intentionally minimal. The website uses no advertising or tracking cookies and no social media cookies. Fonts and scripts are loaded from our own server.
| Cookie | Purpose | Retention period |
|---|---|---|
| wordpress_*, wordpress_logged_in_* | Logging in for website administrators | Session up to 14 days |
| wp-settings-* | Preferences in the admin dashboard | 1 year |
| Local storage (browser) | Remembering small preferences, such as a selected tab | Until you do |
For visitors without an account, the website does not place cookies that require consent. That’s why we also don’t show a cookie banner.
3. Spam protection
Our forms use a temporary security code that is not a cookie. If we enable Cloudflare Turnstile, a small check is performed without tracking cookies. We will update this statement once that is the case.
4. The Offacto platform
When you log in to the platform, we place strictly necessary cookies to keep your session secure and remember your preferences. Without these cookies, you cannot log in.
5. Manage cookies
You can remove or block cookies at any time via your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from logging in.
6. Questions
